A Chablis from one of my favourite producers. Vinified in stainless steel, temperature controlled tanks, using natural yeasts. Aged at least 8 months. No oak.
“This Chablis reveals white fruit notes such as peach, and has a persistent mineral structure. In the mouth, a stony sensation which is so typical of Chablis makes this a round and pure wine.” Winemaker’s notes.
“The 2017 Chablis is exactly what it should be. Precise, lifted and wonderfully appealing, the 2017 is already super-delicious. Bright floral and citrus notes add to the wine's effortless, refined feel.” 90 points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media.
“Honey, green apple, hay or bread dough, shells, fennel. It’s bright and juicy, good cut and tang through honey glossed texture, with crunch and orange tang on a pretty long finish. Lovely to drink, and so easy to enjoy.” 92 points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.
