Everything But The Kitchen Sink Mix
This is a great drink now mix of 2 whites, 2 rosés and 2 reds.
Medhurst Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2023
"Very pale luminescent green color and brilliant in the glass. on The nose is powerful with huge notes of grapefruit and lime. Background grilled nuts from classy French oak influence, its enticing and intense. The palate is poised and powerful, with line and length and beautiful natural soft acid line, typical of our cool site. This wine will look terrific over the medium term." Winemaker's notes.
Bollini Pinot Grigio 2022
Terrific grigio from the north east of Italy. “Straw yellow in colour, clear-cut and delicate on the nose, with scents of acacia flowers, minerals and pear. The fresh natural acidity supports the wine.” Winemaker’s notes.
Saint Max Cotes de Provence Rose 2021
This delicious fresh Provence rose is made by well-known Chateauneuf du Pape based producer Château Mont-Redon. The wine is a blend of 60% grenache, 25% cinsault, 8% syrah and 7% carignan, with the fruit coming from vineyards located in Côtes de Provence, the largest appellation within Provence. "Pale pink color, intense citrus (grapefruit) and peach notes and a delicate, intense mid-palate. Ideal as an aperitif, with shellfish or crusted prawn served with citrus sauce." Pierre Fabre, Winemaker.
Spinifex Rose 2021
A blend of 31% mataro, 29% grenache, 16% carignan, 14% cinsault and 10% ugni blanc. "The resulting wine offers the kind of vibrant texture and crunchy line that were once the exclusive domaine of Provençal rosé. Not anymore. With delicate red fruits, watermelon and a little white peach, it's a bone-dry and gently textured wine with lip-smacking energy and nervy cut. The finish is long, pristine, and focused. Gorgeous stuff." Bibendum Wine Co.
Rive Droite Rive Gauche Cote du Rhone Rouge 2020
This is rosy red in the glass. On the nose, raspberry and cherry aromas meld with red rose and fennel. On the palate you’ll find ripe cherry notes tempered by liquorice, pepper and savoury sasparilla bitterness. Less fruit-forward than Aussie GSM and with nice clean acid balancing its juiciness, it’s more in the leaner Euro style. Fresh, simple and delicious.
Frankland Estate Shiraz 2020
“While the bouquet and palate alike are richly endowed, the cool continental climate shuts the door on any over-ripe, pudgy fruit characters. So, tannins play along with the black cherry fruit and utterly delicious savoury undertow. Drink to 2040.” 95 points and included in James Halliday's Top 100 Wines of 2022.
