Opens with red berry and red cherry fruit character, some dusty earth scents, plunge of tar and leather. Sloshy and juicy to taste with concentrated, dark fruit character, ropes of fine, sandy tannins, good length of flavour and finishes sour-dusty. Set to more savoury things, structured and serious. Like this.

Pale to medium ruby colored, the 2012 F Series Pinot Noir is scented of dried cherries, mulberries and currants with hints of sandalwood, cinnamon stick and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with elegant flavors that have started to evolve into complex tertiary characters, supported by finely grained tannins and refreshing acidity. It finishes with great persistence.
